Set up for drag racing 1224 with ported head Lowered w/ shorty kickstand, shorty shocks and strap for front forks Carrozerria wheels 6" over Trac Dynamics swing arm ESJOT sprockets (16/46) Air Shifter set up from YTRAPS zrx (working flawlessly I might add) Onboard air compressor for airshifter, horn button is shift button, turn signal switch turns compressor on and off Dyna shiftminder shift light set up ZZR clipons with filled in top yoke (no handlebar mounting holes) Trigger white face gauges Tail light bobbed Full Hindle at the moment, will have a custom Holeshot Dragmeg in March Exhaust hanger 1224 kit ZZR cams Head porting by Krexken Full blackout treatment to bits and pieces all over the bike. too many to list (lots of powder coating) Cut down seat for drag racing Drag chain (non-oring type) Speigler brake lines Ferodo XR brake pads Have not run the 1224 at the track just yet (in process of doing the 1224 right now). But should be able to run 9.3's or 9.4's without too much trouble. We'll see. I don't have a favorite mod. The bike is my favorite thing...it just keeps getting better and faster with time. This rex has done it all, commuting, track days, touring, drag racing (did all of them in 2004), but now is just doing minor commuting and drag strip duty. Still a blast to ride across town with the other seat and will kill just about anything in roll-ons. Still brings a smile to my face every time I look at it or ride it. What this bike can't do, it's garage mate Coolblue does (the other rex). Only thing better than this rex, is having ANOTHER. |
