    So you like naked bikes?

This one is just in my humble opinion. I know it's not a ZRX so flame away.

You know it's gonna perform pretty darn good right out of the box.

    410 lbs
    208 HP

It's a bit expensive but the radiator shrouds are wings that reduce front end lift at speed (above 125 mph).

    Titanium connecting rods

Yeah, the MV just looks different enough from the Ducati that everything looks just "right". The Ducati missed the mark for me. Something is wrong with the overall look.

I'm almost 99% sure that HP figure is at the crank. It's so much more than just a number though. I bet that bike feels very interesting to ride.

Gorgeous, but I would still be REALLY gunshy about buying an MV based on a few friends experiences with their reliability. Admitedly that was 5-7 years ago and they may have stepped up their game.

But such a nice bike to look at!!!!

You could put Ti rods in your 1224 if you wanted, probably for far less than the cost of a service on the MV lol

Re: So you like naked bikes?

Most naked bikes today are so dense looking they make me feel claustrophobic with so much packed in and around the engine. Most look like they're simply faired bikes with the bodywork removed. I prefer at least a little bit of "see through" or openness in my naked bikes, with the engine on full display.

    Example.

You will not need to wait 20 years for the parts quandary to get going. It will happen in the first few months of your new ownership Arash. You'll need a strategic partnership with either Barber or Leno to keep her going.

Here's a naked that I could definitely stand in the garage and gaze upon. And I'm sure others would too at the local bike night hang out.

I took the Indian for a test ride while at Barber. It was fast and extremely torquey, but I felt like I was on my YZ450 with a wider seat.

Re: So you like naked bikes?

Naked bike? Is that more-or-less a recent term?

Back in the day, all my bikes were pretty much naked. I think the 1st bike I ever owned that had a full fairing, was my 1986 Honda VF-1000R.
