There is lots of programming to do so this will be a lengthy and expensive process as we will need to make one and have it test fit as the last thing we want is interference somewhere on the part or leaking.

    1200 valve cover please

Ignatz has both 1100 and 1200 but I think he would go for 1200 - he will be along after he finishes pew pew with his new toy ;-)

IMO - 1100 valve cover could be cross marketed to all the ZX11/GPZ folks out there as well...

PM me for great prices on ÷hlins shocks and forks!

Yes, one of each please, as long as my question is answered regarding whether the air block off would be incorporated in the construction and of course price. Thanks.

I think everyone would not want to have to bolt up a block off, so my thinking is to build it blocked.

Hey gents, does anyone have any trashed 1200 or 1100 heads?

This is a part that we donít want to screw up and having a head to test fitment would be smart prior to shipping a big hunk of machined billet to everyone.

    Re: Billet Valve Cover

There are some critical dimensions where the gaskets mate to the cover for the hold down bolts - this determines the amount of pressure on the cover against the perimeter gasket.

If you copy the stock cover in those areas, you'll be fine but a mock up on a spare head is a great idea.

Got CaPetes 1200 cover today and instantly once I saw the bottom I thought we need to test this in house for the gasket fitment for leaking and also for valve clearance internally within the cover.

That's how the OA rolls with folks like Scott Stites that bring full bespoke CNC machining services to us for our beloved ZRX. He trusts us to be serious buyers and know up front it's not going to be cheap, and we trust him to do his best to make it as affordable as possible while still allowing him to pay his bills.

Kawasaki sells theirs for $307.53. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this billet one from Stites will cost more. If you hate money but like shiny things, this is the perfect mod for your ZRX.

The final price depends on a lot of things, but the more that buy, the lower the price will be. I'm sure some will drop out once it's scoped out but that's always the case in a group buy for one off part builds.

The price is very important to a lot of people I don't think it's just give or take a few. Really would like to be a part of this and pricing tiers based upon number of units produced should be able to be figured out so guys can commit fully or pull out if they haven't already committed up front at this point.
