Are we still polling interest in an oil pan? Because I'm in, also pending price. Could there be an improvement in ground clearance?

Sounds like you have to pull the engine. Between price and the amount of work required I am curious to the amount of people that would purchase.

    Re: Billet Oil Pan

Oh, yeah, pulling the engine would make this a no go for now. That's more downtime than I want until I'm ready for the 1224.

    Re: Billet Oil Pan

You don't have to pull the engine to remove and replace the oil pan.

You have to work upside down, and the gaskets/o-rings cost about $80, but it can be done in the bike. Easier with the motor upside down though.

    Oh hell
I've changed an oil pan in the bike.

That said I'd probably spend my money on a connie pan and $$$ on billet valve cover.

Friend hit some huge piece of crap on the Throgs Neck bridge tonight. Removed his drain plug and he was able to get the bike shut down and off the bridge quick.
