Yesterday my H2 hydrolocked and bent the #1 rod. I'm looking for a rebuilder, not in a hurry.
ANY tips/pointers greatly appreciated.
Thanks, HAMMERHEAD

WOW Sorry to hear!!
Zammy would be go one to PM for info... he's one of the Kawi triple guru's around here!
I believe Paul Gast is still in the Kawi triple business!
Good luck!

I have done many.
Maybe Chuck Quenzler in Clearwater can help you out.

The go to triple crank rebuilders in the US are Charlie Smith on the East Coast and Dave Singleton on West Coast (CA). Both are great and you have options as to seals and rods with both. Let me know if you want their contact info. And, sorry to hear about hydrolock. You may also need to address your oil line check valves for correct opening pressure. Check valves, balls, and springs are all still available. I put a manual shut off valve on my H2’s oil injection line between the oil tank and oil pump when it sits and I use a visual reminder on the bike to cut it back on before cranking it.

Thanks folks, I replaced the check valves in the oil lines a couple of years ago, but after I pulled the #1 cylinder I noticed an abundance of fresh 2 stroke oil in the crankcase. Depending on how this goes I'll probably delete the oil pump and run pre-mix.

Your choice but for a street bike running pre-mix IMO is a pain. I did that once and it got to be a real hassle.
Evans had a great solution... putting an inline shut-off valve on the oil line (tank to pump).
Good luck getting your crankshaft repaired and the bike up and running
