    Ist November ride!

1st day of the month; back from my Israel trip; dry and sunny weather. Mornings are frosty but it got up to mid-40s in the afternoon. I took the green Rex out for about a 30-mile jaunt on my favorite back roads. My electric vest kept it very comfy.

I sure like looking at - and of course riding - this bike!

Gonna be a gorgeous day here in N. AZ. tomorrow. I'm hitting the road, hoping to see the better part of 200 miles or so.

I have about $30.00 in my wallet, so I should be good to go..............

You are a manly man, Mike. To me, 40s are very frosty.

I'm riding today, but not leaving until it's 55 out there. It will be 80 this afternoon.

Been riding more frequently in this pre salt road weather than most of the summer, trying to get the final miles in myself ...thank you E301 for the sale of winter gloves to me.

..whooboy those suckers let me ride down to 40f ...yellow lense glasses help low light vision , but I try not to ride too aggressive after dusk with the wet leaves ......I had a wet leaf front end wash out prevented by a curb bouncing me upright after I was certain I was going down a few yrs back, that kind of luck may not happen twice

    Re: Ist November ride!

We may get some snow here from time to time. For the most part, it only lasts a day or two. Salt is never used on the roadways here, only cinders.

Back on Christmas Day in 2017, I went for a ride. Got in over 200 miles and the weather was picture perfect. Having lived in the PNW, that would never have been possible. Late Oct., it was time to get your bike prepped for storage until Spring.

Matter of fact, the 1st year (1984) we moved to AZ., I went riding on Christmas Day. The first time in my life ever having done so.

Steve, we need to get a ride in together sometime! Let me know your schedule and availability. Looks to stay dry here thru Wednesday. I have appointments Tuesday, but Mon or Wed could work.

Would like that. I work night shift so week ends are my only free time to ride. Got a co worker that wants my green 1100 so he will be back in the saddle soon.

    Re: Ist November ride!

Just put both of mine away this week. Was holding out hope as I have ridden up to Thanksgiving weekend here. Very busy week of prep. Bikes stored, garage rearranged, snowblower started oil change and greased, leaves raked. Bring it on I'm ready 6 to 8 inches predicted ................ still sucks but........ not just us. Wife traveling for work to Chicago this morning flight canceled. Now has to fly from Buffalo to Charlotte to get to Chicago. This because Chicago is screwed right now. Allegedly better there this afternoon.

Everyone be safe and try to stay warm!

I too have had many a time when I sit on my porch and just look at my ZRX. Did the same with the Hayabusa too. Some bikes are just works of art in their own right
This is why the modern Transformer looking bikes have never appealed to me. They do not look like I want a motorcycle to look like
