I Am A Bad ZRX Owner.....

So I just realized I am a mere week or so a way from NOT riding my ZRX in 2 years! Since putting it back together after my accident Nov 2017 I have not ridden it. I have one aluminum panel to make to bolt on my late model ZX9R cluster and that is all that is preventing me from running it.....

It has sat patiently in my formal dining room on its stand waiting.....

    Very Sad.

If "shortly" = 5 minutes then................YUP. I'm here Boss Man.

High priority life goals include getting up close and personal with Cory. But I won't tell you why .

I'm not doing much better myself. Still looking for quality talent to help me swap an intake camshaft.
I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

I actually totally understand that feeling. I waited a long time to start working on mine after the accident, even though I was riding another bike. I don't know, I never believe people when they say it aint the same again - but your enthusiasm sure does take a hit. But it grows back.

Lets reverse the thinking: Your a great owner because you came back.

He meant you will be "along shortly" because you are giving a spanking.

Don't feel too bad Naked Fun, 'cause you ain't alone. I'm kind of in the same boat.

I used to ride all the time, commuted to work, weekend rides, etc. Heck, I even rode my 1100 From SoCal to Canada and back, and I do mean TO Canada (not through Canada). In other words, crossed the border long enough to snap a pic, then right back into Idaho.

Even did a few SoCal ZRXOA rides.....

I lost the hereditary lottery though, and acquired my dad's (RIP) arthritis at an early age. At 45 (2010)my right hip started acting up and for the past three years it's been so bad that I haven't swung a leg over a bike to ride at all. I think late '17 early '18 is the last time I rode and it was agony.

Hoping to get my hip replacement by February next year. Finally.
I want to exit this world the same way I entered. Naked, screaming and covered in someone else's blood.

I donít have an excuse and still ride. I got my ZRX back together very quickly, but moved, changed jobs and cities, etc.... Other projects got in the way and here we are. My KZ has been so close to be ing done, and its been a 7 year project!

Still eager to ride, have been lucky that the accident didnít tale that away in the least, but I just need to work harder at my hobbies I guess.....lol

This statement alone means you cannot be a bad ZRX Owner. Also means a lot more to those of us who have a wife.

Oh yes. I check on the fuel once and a while and surprisingly it has no hint of oxidation by smell, but either way it needs to be run some...

Hello Cory. Don't feel bad. But you do need to go to your room and think about what you have not done. You have to be single if you have THE MACHINE in the formal dining room.

You've spent a fair amount of time being generous and making those great harnesses for the rest of us. Time to be a little selfish, sir. Get 'er dun!

I am the one who is a bad ZRX owner!

Cory and his wifey are a mere 45 minutes away from me on a little vacation and as I type this we can't go visit them.
We had things lined up for a nice dinner tonight and some much needed catching up to do but nooo, a foot injury has me sidelined.
Plantar fasciitis has grounded me. After a steroid injection yesterday my doctor has me on total rest so it's nothing but Bonanza & Andy Griffith reruns for the weekend which even knocks me out of my g'daughters last ballgame of the season.

Sorry Cory, sure hate to miss you,

    Jimmy,

I just want to help out, but remember that all of you are still PAYING for them! I am just thankful for your patience in waiting for me to get them out.
