I'm with Brian, it may be a fun bike to ride but not to look at. I do give Mama Kawasaki credit for staying on top of the technology game. I would like to see them back in MotoGP.

I like the new look it is more bold than the standard bugazoid looking z1000, like all bikes pics don't do justice.

I like the looks of this bike. Definitely made to customize like our ZRX. Kawasaki has done it right with the intake on the left.

heres what they call it in the article:

    2020s most extreme hyper-naked

I actually like the trellis frame that looks like its shrink- wrapped around the mamakaw power plant. Its steel too, just like the REX

My thoughts exactly, had to scroll down to the end to find the weight, they don't want to call attention to it ?
Maybe a good ride for somebody 250# plus.
Put the same technology in a sub 400# 500cc bike, please.

I almost bought a used 996 Duc. before my friend showed me a ZRX brochure in Jan/99
Another coworker got the Duc., he spent almost 3k replacing normal wear parts, service/maintenance items, starter clutch ??, etc., etc. He saved money by doing the work himself, since the PO gave him a lot of special tooling
How many starter clutch failures have you seen on Jap bikes in general ??, common fail on Duc's, avg $500 for diy !!
