    Zephyr paid me a visit..

So I got chatting to an elevator service engineer who popped into my work today..

He was telling me he had a Zephyr 750 that was running a little "lumpy".,so he arrived at my house this evening for a little "tune up"...

Got it running right for him...

Nice little bike..and seemed pretty easy to work on..

Pretty bike! I donít believe we had that paint scheme here for the 750 Zephyr. What was the issue with tune? Iím betting dirty air filter.

Just a good carb synch and then she was running like a watch...

Little "clattery" at very low idle ...(according to the Zephyr community the cam chain tensioner is the culprit and should be swapped out for a manual one....which he had )

Airbox 'boots' could do with replacing (seal a little ....)

But he was much happier when he left....

I wouldn't have minded a little spin on it "round the block" however I resisted the urge.

I have always fancied the 1100 version....,however 'stock' these bikes definitely have the "previous generation" feel in all areas to the ZRX though.....(you can detect that immediately..)

I still miss my 750 Zephyr that I gave away when I got the ZRX.

The only thing I hated on each and every ride was the unbelievably slippery seat cover.
Godspeed Jaco. You're missed down here mate.

You worked on it, and you most definitely deserved a run a round the block on it. That's just SOP where I came from.
