    Tin colors

    I have a 03 blue
But considering putting on my 04 Silver set of tins
That I had as spares for my last rex.
    Opinions?
Both blue and sliver are 98% condition
Probably sell the extra set after words..

Let me know when or if you want to start wrenching. I'll drop by and lend a hand.

Did you get a chance to ride it yet? Or is the hand still on the mend?

The ZRX blue is a really nice color IMO. Though, as we all know, I prefer my own red.

Since we're talking about Suzukis, my '80 GS550E was a nice deep red. Same for the '81 GS650E. I bought a Shoei fairing for the 550 and it went right on the 650 and the color match was near perfect. But that was, like, a while back.

My friend Lisa (aka my "Moto Wife") has a 2018 that has a red frame and black tin. Looks nice.

As I recall, they re-named the SV650 the "Gladius" for a while in an effort to appeal to women riders and I don't recall the colors back then. May have had more feminine colors to appeal to the womens.

    Re: Tin colors

Recently Iíve seen a clean set of silver tins sell here for 1200.00 without shipping. (Tanks over 600 alone)
That said, Iím good with keeping either color. You that have mentioned wanting a full set, either color, pm me your offered price if your for real. Iíve been contacted already about the blue set, if I canít at least recover what I payed for a full set, Iím ok with keeping them for now. There is some great painters out there but these are original if that means anything to you.
    Thanks Ray

    Re: Tin colors

blue is the more popular color by the general public , from my owning 4 blue and 1 green - when I had the green, most said , to paraphrase, nice bike but your blue one was really sharp

the silver is not bright enough for my idea of silver , seems too grey / primer with insufficient pearl for a silver also

ya can make a little $ now or even more from the blue later - if you don't need the $ - keep em both imho
