    New ZRX in San Francisco

    Hello Folks,

First and foremost a big thanks to Arash for welcoming me to this forum. It has been, and continues to be, a fabulous source of quality information on the bike.
I have already used a lot of the tips and advices shared here, ordered a bit of Farkle from Greg C. and begun planning future improvements. It's hard to not catch the moding bug.

I have had my eyes on the ZRX for quite some time now, mostly thanks to the cool documentary on one prepped for Pikes Peak, and finally pulled the trigger.

I am looking forward to joining some of the fun conversations on this forum and hopefully contribute a bit.

    Cheers,

Re: New ZRX in San Francisco

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

It's nice to see so many local folks. I will try to hit you up guys to schedule a ride or something.

To answer some of your comments. The picture was indeed taken on the Wall in Berkeley, I used to live just around the corner from there and it was part of my morning and evening commute. Quite a wonderful way to start and end the day.

Now that I am on the peninsula, I suspect that Canada road, 84 to Alice, then 35 to 92 will be my new loop.
For those interested I will be at Sonoma Raceway with Z2 for a car/bike track day, but not with the ZRX.

And as far a mods go, so far we have:
    - rebuilt the carbs. Already had dynojet stage 1 main + needles which I kept, #35 pilot jet were badly gunked up.
    - fresh air filter
    - removed evap
    - block off plates
    - galfer lines
    - coerce sprocket cover
    - Greg steering damper kit on its way
    - Bitubo on their way
    - I am now agonizing over AK-20 vs. ZX-14 fork swap And you guys are not helping :P

Looking forward to meeting some of you in person soon.
