Size: 311.7 KBSome call this bike a manta ray from the rear. I had a red one and it was very fast, raced my brothers Zrx by LAX on Aviation Blvd. past him like he was stuck in 3rd gear! Very cool and rare bike! But it did suck the gas! Also I took the tank bra off because I wanted to keep the paint all nice but then you could not hold on to the tank with your legs! I bought it for $1500 with all new tires, carbs cleaned, brakes and everything. The guy was 70 years old Andy got in to road bicycling. I sold that bike before I crashed it, all the weight was in the front end!

Always liked this model, especially from the rear. The taillight is very unique. The sides remind me of a Testarossa.
Not too many clean ones around...

Cool bikes from Suzook. They had great 1/4 mile and top speed performance at their time. Even if only for a year or so. Then came the 5 valve Genesis engine in 1000cc size and the YZF1000R (had one. Wicked fast).
I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

    Re: CL- Suzuki RF900R

Bought one for my son a few years ago from a member on this forum. It was completely redone and it was the Manta Ray edition which supposedly was the rarest. He sold it a year or so ago. The Manta Ray came in Green only.

There is a bit of a cult following for the RF900 much like the ZRX. The RF900 forum is based out of the UK and I'm still a member there.

This one was a 1994. While riding it I was reminded of my 88 1100 Katana. Very comfortable.

A friend has one. In fact, went riding with him on it a couple of weeks ago. Very nice, comfortable bike.

Never seen or heard of one until now. Nice looking bike! Some have mentioned the tail light and how cool it is. But yet, no one has posted up a picture of it.

    Let's see the tail light..............

Size: 2.90 MB some people like it some don't! Remember the zx11 had tail lights with Turn Signals intergraded in the body work. I think that's what they were think off. Also where the weather is cloudy this would be a great!

Those tail pics don't do it justice... a little too zoomed in. It looks much better when you're five feet away or so.

A friend had one new in the late 90's. It was a nice looking bike, 96 I think. Purple and gray.
Inspired me to buy my first new bike, '97 TL1000s, in dark green. I still Miss that bike.
