    The word "Twingle" is tickling the back of my brain. I believe it was an Eastern European bike. Two stroke with 2 pistons but one combustion chamber. I'm sure someone here can come up with the rest of the story.

    I wonder if this is a Triumph Werke Nurnberg engine. I did not realize that the guy who started Triumph was from Germany, and set up a plant at Nuremberg that produced twingle models among others. https://cybermotorcycle.com/euro/brands/triumph-twn.htm

    I remember the old Sears Allstate Twingles from the catalog, but not sure I ever saw one in action.

    Yamaha ran some of their XS650's as twingles when they flat tracked them.

    Puch had some twingles and some were sold at Sears stores as Allstates.
