460 4bl, 4K Onan, generator, when I finally figured out why it tried to turn over as soon as I hooked up the battery, the rear view camera came on 👍

Ha ha.........the guy that sets up next to us at the Barber Swapmeet every year, drove a motorhome in about two years ago. He told me he got it real cheap. The previous owner took his life in it (gun) and he laid in there for a month. Said the smell was..........well, you could imagine. Other that than (and the stains in the bedroom where he died) where the only problems, rest of the thing looked great. My neighbor hired a company to clean it and somehow get the smell out. (he never told his wife why the price was so low....)

I have always wanted to do something like that, bus conversion, RV rehab, etc... should be fun given the $$$ in reserve to not stall the project.

May be a part out. One of the AC units and the generator may end up in the short bus.

He had the circuit board fixed and it is missing the control box cover that it attaches to. This is the spec sheet for the rv and label from the generator.

Iíll check to see what I can do when I get to work. I assume the panel you are talking about is the main control panel where to stop/start switch is?

Yes, I'm not sure if it had a switch/fuse/clock or just the switch.

Oh inside? Like a remote start panel? Or literally on the front side of the generator itself?

I believe it has remote start. I saw an hour meter near the drivers area but I have not looked for the start/stop panel yet.

You do weedeating at night with a long extension cord Background of the last picture!

Well this should be a very interesting thread... now that I think about it ALL of yours are

My father-in-law at the time back in the day (1973 or so) we rebuilt/restored a burned out small MH, one with a Ford van front end.

We put basically all new components in the living part of the it but never could quite get the burned smell out of it. I used it for a couple of years when I started attending the National drag racing meets around the US.

Good Luck with your project...should be a fun one

Got the generator started yesterday. It needs a fuel pump but I verified that it does work and drives at least the from AC unit.

Any generic ďclickerĒ solenoid pump should work just fine.
