    Greetings from San Diego!

New(ish) Rex owner in San Diego here! Actually fell in love with my FOUR hundred while living in Okinawa a couple years ago... Soon to retire from military and the need for something GREEN got the better of me at last... Ride home yesterday was, quite honestly, heaven...Name: 42D74E6C-A6CA-4D7D-8CE2-675C1B111437.jpeg

    Greetings from San Diego!

    Congrats and welcome aboard John!

You can find used Jade Green cowlings appropriate to your 1100 listed here on our marketplace every now and then, but you might consider just buying any used one you can find and have it painted to match. These bikes are old and the paint has faded differently on each one.

    Thank you for your service.

Now what's going on with that clutch cover? Is that a reflection I'm seeing?

Muzzy, pods, radiator straps, braided brake lines - nice and functional mods. I see it has a round headlight; they were offered in Europe that way. If you want to put the fairing on it, you'll need the fairing stay/bracket, rectangular headlight, fairing, fairing inner, vent plug, windscreen and all the well nuts, bolts and screws that hold it all together. The round light actually looks nice.

Maybe you can get together with my Navy son (rides this '01) when he gets back from XO school.

Welcome, that bike looks very familiar, has some nice suspension on it anyway.

Unfortunately it's gonna takes some bucks to switch out that headlight to a stock bracket, headlight and fairing.

    Thanks for your service.

    Thanks for the welcome all!
Glad to have a larger motor, the 400 was PERFECT for a small island with an absolute max 100 KPH... But when my sonís ready in a couple years thatíd be a pretty good second bike.

Interesting that the round lamp was an option somewhere, Iím still partial to the fairing so will likely be willing to $$$$, though in only 24 hours itís already growing on me.

Mike, Iíll pass along my info sometime soon- Is XO school in RI?

If the round headlight is one of the 8" ones, it's worth some bucks, so that may help.

Yes, he's there now. He's also a member and occasional participant on this board. I think he actually starts his new command in December, so he'll be in and out till then.
