This engine was in the training workshop today.
A connecting rod failure with the cause undertermined,as yet.
Thumbs-up for the person who can identify this engine.
This is the intake port of the associated cylinder.
This a good port.Factory CNC with titanium valves and beryllium guides.

I'm gravitating toward something that is over engineered (titanium valves), under performs (it failed after all) and features a stupid GREEN technology to help it all along to failure.
This gets me to:
Volkwagen (VW) Tiguan V10 that has the Gawd awful direct injection (they call it TDI). Or maybe when it was known as the Touareg.
It too had the Gawd awful TDI.
What did I win?I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.
