YUP, Little bastages have ate the wires on our house A/C condenser/pump three years in a row. Cost me $180 last year as the wires shorted and blew the PC board in the furnace

Yep, We've been using dryer sheets in our campers for over 10 years. Never had any evidence of mice getting in. Might be a coincidence. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.

Thatís sucks. Difficult to keep them away. I used moth balls for years, now dryer sheets, and leave the seat off to try n deter the rodents. If the bare wire touches metal, now a dead short that kills your battery too.

That does suck but try to rewire a boat after the little suckers get into the wire/control cable chase under the deck and chew things up. THAT really sucks!!

Haven't had one eat anything of value yet but I put out some Tomcat traps around and it seemed to have wiped them out. I put one in my attic and then threw the little green bricks into the insulation. Then put a few traps in the garage. You can re bait them too. Haven't seen one or the evidence of one in years.

Big glue traps work great and are cheap. Buy em at Walmart. I've caught mice, snakes, frogs, lots of roaches and, unfortunately, birds.

I sold a very nice 67 R/T due to mice started to eat on it.Figured better to sell it than let them eat it. Still at war with them years later. Sticky traps and mice bait everywhere and they still attack some areas. They even chewed the push mower bag up and made it useless. They have left the bikes alone so far. Implement shed they also got a belt on a rear finish mower for the tractor. Hate the devils.

Mice and rats suck. Had one last year eat a hole in the intake tube on the wife's car. A couple years ago my dad had them eating the wiring on his truck. Took him a while to eliminate them and trace down all the wires that needed repaired.

The easiest solution is to ride the bikes often enough that the rodents can't get comfortable.

    Re: Stinking Mice!!!!

After the hurricanes in 2004 here I had a major problem with Norway roof rats. Including the tail they were about a foot long on the average. We have pigeons and the damn things kept trying to get into the loft. I used a Hav-a-hart live trap and some licorice flavored bait given to me by the local trapper. First night I got 27 of them suckers! I live on a large canal with woods on the other side and most the rats come from there. Once trapped I'd drop it into the canal until the vermin expired, then I'd leave the carcass for the turtles and gators. The following night I got about a dozen, then the subsequent night I got about 6 or 8 a night. Pretty much wiped em out.

Same thing happened to me about 15 years ago. Mice chewed the harness under the tank in the most inaccessible place on the bike. Since then I have 6 traps in the single car garage. Caught maybe 125 since then, along with a couple of chipmunks.

Do they kill the mice? Does the mouse eat the sheet? Where do you find the dead mouse?

Normally they will make their nest out of insulation or your seat cushion or paper but in this case it looks like some sort of grass or wool
