My ZRX last year on Angelus Crest Highway. Love the rock in the background.

Unfortunately, photobucket does not give me a choice anymore of the link so the photo actually shows up.

    Re: I Don't Want to get "Political" But . . . .

I once owned a 1982 GPz1100. Bought it brand-new. I had more damn issues with that bike than I could shake a stick at. Kawasaki did nothing in regards to a warranty. I finally had to turn to the state of Montana to get any resolution.

Swore that I'd never buy another Kawasaki. I held true to my promise until 2003. Then I bought a ZRX.

Thanks again, Pete! I so rarely go into my photobucket account that I had to upgrade it this am and then the new program did not give me a choice of how to copy the image.

Working on my GPz550 and hoping to have it running soon. Finally got the cams in correctly. Should run now once I hook up the ignition.

All my bikes are red except the 2016 Versys 1000, which is titanium but I have given some thought to painting it red. Would look great, I think. A nice candy red (which was what the ZRX was supposed to be when I got it painted).

Red looks good on any motorcycle. It's the color of fast things. Ferrari, Ducati, etc.

Kawi shoulda badged and named the Red/Black ZRX...... GPZ instead.
Woulda been a tip o the hat to the ole Gpz line.....

Im sure some have custom done this already??

Id like to acquire a red/black 1100 and do just that...or custom paint one.....some GPZ badging and a few other mods to represent the GPZ flag....I ran a 550/750 back in the day.....luved every second of ownership/ridership

Frankly.....they shoulda bragged em all as either ELR or GPZ.....never particularly liked the ZRX handle....yes I know..assemble a mob and build a fire for the heresy.....

My 2 twin shock GPZ's....550/750 were awesome.....

Fun, bulletproof, cool as hell.....were affordable to buy and mod too.
550 ran like a scalded dog with a wolf header/shimmed needles and some other backyard tweeks......those were DEF the daze......

I feel like I need to speak up for the Blues, which appear to be a minority here.

I also had a GPz550 - LOVED that bike. And my apartment manager actually let me winter it inside. And the cat liked it as well.
