I expect it to go up soon considering the recent tension in the middle East.

Doubt it Sir. We have rid ourselves of the overbearing influence their oil plays on our daily lives and future. America is pretty much oil (and natural gas) independent. America now exports a LOT of crude oil to foreign customers. And with the recent documented finds of recoverable oil in west Texas and New Mexico America has DOUBLED its reserves of crude oil. Doubled. We be drowning in crude oil.

You would think that after some 40 years of bitching about OPEC the Commercial News Sources would be dancing a jig. But when you pause to consider it....you too will realize that NO ONE talks about OPEC anymore here in America.

Now. Back to the US Open Golf Championship. Riding is done for the day here in Bamaland.

Damn straight! We can even own full-auto firearms, if you're willing to jump thru a hoop or two and pay a little money.

Don't know much about the canned cheese thing though. Not my thing...........

Cheapest here for (our) 91 octane (similar to US 89 octane) today is

    AUS$1.20 per litre

    which is

    AUS$4.54 per gallon

    which is

    US$3.12 per gallon.

Mondays are our cheapest fuel days.

Generally Wednesdays are the most expensive, at around AUS$1.50 per litre.

And.... I have never seen canned cheese.

Now even the Aussies are rubbing it in! QLD has the highest prices for fuel overall

Cheapest around here is about $1.25/Lt and that's the discounted E10 crap./

I paid $2.75 per gallon for premium last fill. Although I can afford to get poor mileage I'm pumped that my '18 Civic SI is averaging about 37mpg. Donna's Subaru Forester is averaging 27mpg. Both better than our last vehicles which both averaged about 21 - 22 mpg. I can't believe how much fun can be packed into 96 cu. in.

Most of the higher prices for a gallon/liter are the result of zealous guvmunts taxing our ZRXOA members OutThereAzz.

And I'm not at all familiar with, say, Australia's domestic crude oil production system. You mates gotta bring it all in on ships from other places/countries?

Size: 296.3 KBGermany was very high but most people use Diesel. Also with next to no speed limit, who cares! I think with the conversion of Euros to US dollars and litters to gallons. It was over $6 US dollars for gas and $250 to $300 for diesel! Most people used stick shift cars. Funny but we were driving at 80 to 90 mph or 120 to 145 km most of the time. My son leaned over And he said how's our mileage? I said most likely not very good but hey No Speed limit! Lol and No Cops! A Great father and son trip, everyone should try it! And Yes I did see a Green Zrx driving in light rain one day!
