Hi, I thought it was time to introduce myself. I have been reading the past and current threads for a while and am impressed with the amount of knowledge and talent that is present on the ZRXOA. What a great resource as well as an online community with a positive, helpful vibe!

I have been riding in some form since age 12 when I got my first motocross bike. Since then there have been many dirt, road, dual purpose, and ATVs pass through my garage. I have had an interest in the ZRX for a long time and recently purchased a very well cared for green 2001 with 4800 miles. My decision to buy was influenced by all the knowledge and resources present here. I do all my own wrenching and am looking forward to doing a few mods to this fantastic bike. I have put about 500 miles on since I purchased and have started looking at a full exhaust, jet kit, and pods to replace the stock header and Yoshimura slip on. After that there is probably some suspension work to come. I'll post a picture as soon as I figure that out...

BTW... I grew in FT. Myers and move to BAMAland well a long time ago... 1984! I believe back in the day my HS played Melbourne in football every season at least that's what I remember but again that's a long time ago

Yes carbs are clean, she runs perfect. The previous owner is very meticulous. The tires were replaced less than two years ago and had about 600 miles on them. I drove 8 hours to pick it up and tires and carbs were among the first questions I asked before making the trip.
