    Z1 Ribless carb value?

I have a set of early ribless 28mm Z1 carbs. I was saving them for when my dad restored his ‘73 Z1 but he had the original ribbed carbs rebuilt.

What’s an average value for them in decent shape?

Last year I sold a set of Z1 28's for $250.00. They were for a 74 or a 75. Earlier carbs may be worth more to the right person who need them for a restoration.

I saw early Z1 carbs being thrown in the dumpster on Atlanta Kawasaki depot. " They went out of sync when you hit a bump "my friend who owned Pasco cycle dealership commented as we drove off.

I know where dozens were buried some 30 years ago in SW Florida... along with lots of other original Z1 parts.

If we only knew then what we know now... there is mega thousands of dollars laying in the ground at todays value.
