    Mercy trip

I won't bore you with the wind on vagina aspects of the scoots, but a 1200 mile round trip in 36 hours.

Only 1 ticket, for not having an actual copy of my licence with me - even though the digital copy I had was enough for them to process the charges to me. F*** I hate Aussie cops.

You took the trip to pick- up the Scoots? Are all of the Aussie peace officers by- the- book/strict like that or just some?

Its been a great car so far, very small in comparison to your trucks - but still managed two scoots and a spare motor in the back, no impact at all on the MPG over the 600 mile run back.

If there is an opportunity to gather some more revenue - yes. Our police force is a money making MACHINE bringing in $B's of revenue annually.

It's the biggest rort and I am sure in 100 years people will look back and realise how little impact is has on saving lives and that it's all about greed. Dont get me wrong, there are great people in the police force making a huge impact - they are not traffic cops though.

It's a lot more suited to Aussie roads than what you guys consider a truck. All of our carparks and a lot of our roads are just too small for a truck (not even talking dually, just normal) - as it is I have to get the carpark dents taken out every 2 years or so

In addition to that, the US trucks dont make much financial sense here - being nearly all over $100k.
Dodge have just realised an entry level Ram 1500 at $80k. Dont know why I would buy that when for $30k I can get similar specs in one of our utes - the towing and carry capacities are marginally better on the RAM but not a huge difference.

I do love the look of a big truck though, just not much point in them here.
