who has the travelling shim kit?

I have a few free odd shims that could go into it 3 X 2.65 and 2 X 2.7 if they would like them
I can mail them this Friday the 31st

I used that kit last year. Ordered one set of replacement shims to replenish, and sent it on. Great idea.

Yes, it's currently back at home at my house.

Be glad to have some extra shims for it.

Slightly off topic but I remember seeing somewhere (thought id saved it) someone posted the "main" size shims or most common ones.
Im rebuilding my engine with Yoshimura Cams and thought Id pre-purchase.
    Thanks for any assistance.

I've taken a couple dozen 2.70 (and one or two 2.75) shims out of the bikes I've worked on, and only put a few 2.70 shims back in. I've bought a few refill kits of 2.65 and 2.60, and on my most recent job used up most of my 2.55s so I bought another 5 of those. I have used one or two 2.50s, and I don't remember using 2.45 or below yet.

All these are on bikes with 65K or fewer miles, many of them first-time valve adjusts at 8K to 20K miles. Maybe as the bikes get older we'll start using more of the smaller shims.
