Arash... Cake Walk for youWe've never seen anything you can't handle and you've got all that time and experience around those aluminum birds... plus you got all of US sending those positive thoughts and prayers you can't go any way be UP
July is HOT weather be sure to bring summer stuff... July and August in the south are usually the hottest months of the year so you've been warned!
Nashville is a really cool town and lots to do... you may not want to go home after a taste of Nashville, the south and all us cool southern boys... if you don't believe me just ask Perko
Hopefully I can make one of your free days... would love to meet The President of The ZRXOA
Don't think it's needed but wish you all the best on your training
Wayne
Arash goes to Tennessee. Nails all the test questions. Does an annual on a DC-3 while spotting and fixing many other squawks so impressing the IA he's speechless and has no choice but to bless Arash with his A&P and a gushing glowing letter of recommendation!

It’s 100% official now, I have my 8610-2 forms signed by the FAA and I have the all clear to go attempt the tests at the Baker school.![]()
I went to my local FAA Flight Safety District Office this morning and they reviewed my paperwork, logs, and interviewed me. I didn’t even have to try and within minutes he was giving me pointers on what to expect at the Baker school. The FAA inspector I met with has only been at this CA office for 18 months but spent 25 years at the local office in TN next to the Baker school. What are the chances of that?! It’ll be fun to see if any of the examiners who will see his signature on my paperwork recognize him.
He came to CA to bump up his salary right before he retires this September. He plans on going right back to TN once he says goodbye tension, hello pension. He gets a $37k bump in salary for the move from TN to CA, and his retirement goes up $22k annually and he gets to retire 3 years sooner too. He’s earned it
So all that’s left for me to do is everything. Time to bust my butt in TN and see if I can come home with a new rating.

The question is...will Ca tax his retirement even though he's in Tn? I hear some communist states do that.

It looks like I'll possibly be in NC the first week or so in July. Haven't nailed down a time yet but if so I'd sure like to get in on this bromance date.We are near Ashville so it's not too long of a drive. I have a good friend in Knoxville so that's a good reason to drop in on him as well. Plus...the wife likes to lose money at the casino in Maggie Valley/Cherokee.
