    New Shoes For The Truck.....

After 15 weeks of waiting for these one-off custom wheels my tires finally came in. So time for mount and balance. One concern was the fronts, and it turns out those concerns were valid. The fronts hit the Super Duty front bumper I retro-fitted just a bit on the lower portion where it mounts the air dam. Backs fit nice, but protrude just a bit....

Shimmed the bumper out 1/2" and trimmed the back side of the bumper.

Shiny enough to shave in Cory.

So, do tell, about the process of ordering custom truck wheels. I didn't know one could do that. Can you request custom wheel offset dimensions?
I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

Yes. You give them your trucks specifications (suspension mods, make, model, year, etc...) and they somehow determine the appropriate offset. They also recommend a tire size. Went from a 215/85R16 to 285/55R20. The bumper was my challenge due to it being a custom fitted piece that they could not account for.

Nope, unfortunately “Duke” stays outside, but gets clay bar’d and waxed regularly.

With that much sheet metal acreage, clay bar and waxing is a major project................

Yeah with everything, about 6 to 8 hours start to finish. Due to the Georgia heat and sun, had to buy the worlds largest pop up shelter to put him under.
