Nice example if you must have. 7900 will buy a newer way more capable bike.

    This is downright bizarre...
My buddy is a bomb squad cop. His coworker just GAVE him an '87 Hurricane with 4 miles on it! The guy bought the bike new in 1987, trailered it home and removed the plastics. He started to lightly sand them down, because he wanted to paint it a different color. Then, he got sidetracked and never did another thing with it. My friend is a engineering genius and has built bikes from scratch, has done a frame off resto on a Chevelle and a vintage pickup. He paints like a professional. He custom designs parts for the bomb robot and machines them in his garage. So, the other cop just asked him if he wanted it, because it would be going to a good home. He had it for one day and already had fully serviced it top to bottom and rode it to my house to show it to me. Now, it only needs tires and a paint job...
    LUCKY GUY!!!

Totally agree. I've been trying to convince him to paint it back to stock

Who was it back in '81? The Buggles? "Video killed the radio star"

Short, direct, incisive, poignant, next level.... Don Draper would be proud

I lived for a time in San Diego in 87- 88. Learned to ride a bike there, an FT500 Ascot
