Guy called me about procedure to take a car to the swap meet today. I asked about the car. His father in law parked it in the garage over 25 years ago. Had owned the car about 50 Decided to let it go. I said I wanna see it. we drove out to look at it and it was in very good original shape. Was on a trailer and tires flat. I told him to drop it off at my property and I gave him some money. Gotta prep it for start up. Fuel system, brakes. Tires did air up . I'll see if they are up this morning. I get a picture later.

Can't wait to see it cleaned up and running. A good bath and detailing can bring A LOT more money.

I found a POS mustang for sale. 5 bolt, 289, discs, . I wonder if the rear end is the same width and spindles will bolt up.

I’d just buy the spindles. The rest is cheap new. Explorer 5.0 cheap and easy. Good rear end. Have to get two rear ends, and swap out the long side for the spare short. Then weld on some leaf spring brackets.

Ditch the explorer fuel injection, can sell it for a little. Just get a used aluminum intake, and a Holley. The AODE is a pain. Don’t mess with it. Find a used C4 or an older explorer without the electronic trans.
