Finally got her tagged and on the road....wasn't surprised that a clutch pack is needed...aint had a spoke wheeler since the old water buffalo I had in 98. (73 K model)...neat lil bike. Definite eye catcher thus far....its no Rex, but it will get me around the hood this summer.

That's a Sweet Lookin' ZL!!! I always had a hankering for it's big brother. Unfortunately my long legs couldn't handle the short legroom.

    Re: 1996 ZL600 B3

my first streetbike was the big brother, ZL900. I had a lot of fun with that bike. Ultimately it started giving me problems. the gas tank rusted out and it developed an oil leak. My experience with the ZL was unforgettable. While I owned it, I one time walked into a Kawi dealership and spotted a ZRX1200 leftover. it was probably 2006. I knew right then and there that my next bike was going to be a ZRX. I wasn't quite ready to part with the ZL. I held on to it as long as I could. During the year 2007, I sold the ZL900 and picked up a 2nd hand ZRX1100. Since then, I have owned ZRXes
