    Update. made a stand to manage the work being done on the engine without having to crawl around on the floor. One thing I found when draining the oil was it was very thin and stunk of fuel so I guess while it sat for so long the tank drained into the sump. Ill get all the casing off and the starter and alternator too.. paint them up and re-mount.

    Above you can see where I had a minor mishap..rolled the bloody engine off the dolly and it broke the oilway and hose connector. £50 and a lesson learned.
