    Re: Exercision

2 years ago I grabbed this one from a FB post 1.5hrs from me. $350 . It was torn apart and left out doors for 4 years . Parts where all over the house , in the dirt floored basement & everywhere . The owner bought it , put 1700 miles on it , tore it apart (no one knew why) and then died from Cancer. His GF finally decided to post it on FB not knowing much about it.

My intentions where to have a parts bike, but the engine tuned over freely & looked spotless in the bottom end. Name: 68403B16-D06D-4E0A-9515-06A302EA581B.jpeg

Very nice work. I really like bringing them back.

Before and after 100,000 miles. I bought it from a local dealer. The clutch came apart or the starter chain tensioner took it out.

Nope it came with them. It’s my GF’s Taco LOL. It was an ‘17 fully loaded TRD OFF Rd long bed quad cab. She totaled it into a tree that winter in a black ice storm. She was fine and Ins paid HUGE , we ordered a ‘18 same way after that and it came with more options because Toyota offered more the next year. It’s a nice truck for sure.

It's a crying shame the way some people treat their bikes. I'll never understand why.

I go to Penndot on Tuesday to get the title transferred. She is all detailed and ready for market but I may have to hold her until spring.

Well I think some of them start with good intentions
Then do not have the time
By the time they do it is just too far gone
Then they are not THAT interested anymore
I am mostly collecting parts right now and working on a way to get a nice tank cheap. Because I am like that
But it does take up a lot of time and I have so many hobbies
I will be booking space in Pops garage this winter and buying him a heater I think
    But seriously folks...
I do not completely understand it either

Shouldn't this be posted in Great Finds?

    How many miles on it?

I "rescued" an '00 with just over 10,000 miles on the clock that had been sitting with the oil drain plug broken out of the oil pan. Gave the owner $1,000, put a spare oil pan I had on it, and it's rolling up on 170,000 miles.
