It will be interesting to se where they go. If they approach FZ10 prices that will be killer.

I'd love one. Won't be able to get one right away, but I think I'm going to try and make a plan...

It's no ZRX. In a year or 2 used ones will likely be <$5k. I'll wait.

I still think it would look better with wire wheels and twin rear shocks. Also, in a couple of years there will be some tuning options on the market. Here in the UK they are selling for Ł10,500, which could be worse. I’d rather wait a couple of years and get the new H2 Ninja SX and spend some money on maybe streetfighter that.

I am in the wait and see how riders like them and how the price comes down as well. New bikes even smaller ones are not in my budget.

I like the cafe, I will be retiring in the next 24 to 30 months, I may give myself a present. By that time there will be a choice of colors and new and used to pick from. It's the only thing I have seen since I bought a ZRX that has interested me enough to buy.

That’s not a bad way to commemorate a milestone like that

I didn’t even think about the cafe in other colors/schemes. I hope they have some neat stuff up their sleeves cause the green with white stripe was ok but they could do better.

Thanks to the Sanctuary & other vendors in Japan, it looks like there will be a vast array of mods available for this guy the moment it reaches US shores. Pipes already available, EFI tuning as well. You can't beat that...

I'd like one, but it's kinda out of my price range & I LOVE my ZRX anyway so...

I want that. Bad. Real bad.

Changed my mind. Initial impulse has worn off now. Reality setting in. Maybe someday.

Re: Who is going for the new Z900RS?

I never bought and brand new bike but I'll probably buy one if the work promotion comes my way as planned next year... It looks the part (I don't like the modern transformer looking bikes), seems to be able to do a lot of things well (except dirt which I almost never do), has all the modern components and hopefully the reliability... I'm sold.

Not anymore, or one that is worth a shit anyway..........

I'm an owner when they make a cafe in red and sell for $8000-$8500. I like it a lot but to me it isn't worth $10K of my money. Heck, I have less then that in my very, very nice 04 ZRX1200 AND my 4XXX mile 12 Suzuki Vstrom 650 with luggage.

I like the café but IMO the fairing looks cheap and way out dated. Looks like an effort to bring some old school into a modern type bike... they missed it for me.

Plus the color green doesn't look right... it's to neon IMO!

If I purchased one it would be the café but that butt ugly fairing would have to go and I'd hope it came in another color than that green... ZRX green yes!

My 2 cents worth... I know who gives a rats ass

Re: Who is going for the new Z900RS?

Really could not believe the weight is almost that of a ZRX? Really thought they would of had it down closer to 400 not the 500 mark. I might go in on a used one. Would have to ride first to see if it tickles my fancy. I think the fairing could of been better or possibly without one. From what the local trooper says about his ZX-10 I might look at one of those before this bike?

I like it.....I like it all..!!! (Yes including the fairing..!)

I could be wrong but I think they have styled the way the stripe curves up over the light to be a nod to Eddie Lawson's Bell Helmet...

    That is my opinion..

I am very tempted by one of these bikes... my local dealership told me today they will have the candy Brown~Orange (Z1 type) in their showroom innthe next week or two... (Cafe one not due in until March..)

Cannot wait to see either...but I just know I'm gonna like it the minute I see it...!!!

I still think though they need 'real' wire spoked wheels......somebody needs to do these.!!

I did not know that. Might like it better if it looked more like an old 900 instead of a Mad Max movie bike.
