Royal Enfield, not everybody's cup o tea, however

With the new 650 twin hitting the street I give em kudos for coming up with new stuff in today's weak market
They have a 838 V-twin concept bring back some of their old ideas. Not my cup o tea but cool nonetheless.

the 650 twin was not comming thisyear inGerman .
    They have build issues

i have wait for a racebike from them and like to drive a 2 zylinderengune before .
i like the older 4valve two piston 500 engines for race build only .
the 650 is a no old engine -the old mother 700 and more ccm and dual pistom work all time
when in the night your light in the bend is not enough , i can not help !
you must drive slower say the dealer .

I am sure the build quality will be the norm.

EVERY time I have been riding with my mate on his Bullet 500 something has fallen off it.

He stacked it and a local shop did a good job of rebuilding and customising it for him - looks good.

Stuff still falls off it though

Hopefully they will get their quality up, Hyundai and Kia were once horrible but have come around. RE won't be able to grow if they don't. I like the construction of the 650s. We'll have to see how they fair long term.

They're nice looking, but quite pricey. I'd rather get a nice used Commando and have BG Wells do his thing with it

I love the Nortons. I spent time back in 74 riding my best friends Commando. One of my customers has a new Commando. Sad thing is now a new Thruxton nearly meets it for far less money. But fantastic we have the choices we do!!!!!
