    Checking links appearing in posts...

In another post, I used the phrase "brake pedal" and, as you can see, it appears as a clickable link.
    I didn't ask it to!
Does anyone else see brake pedal as a clickable link, or is it just me?
If it IS a link, is it something this board's software does, or is it something my computers are doing?

    Let me try. "Brake Pedal"

When I Preview the post it doesn't show but when I make the post it links to the Walmart website. Weird

Thanks Harry, at least I know it's not just me.
I've now noticed, if you put capitals on either of the words, there's no link!

Just to add to this, when I click directly on the links in my original, and your subsequent "brake pedal", I get taken to an Amazon.co.uk address, but when I follow the link you posted, I see the wallmart page.

    Here's the link I get...
    http://i.viglink.com/?key=23f61f0481...l%3C%2Fspan%3E

Looks like this "Viglink" is the culprit. The link destination might be based on our locations?

I'm not completely useless. I can always be used as a bad example.

    Ah, right, no worries.
If it's not some weird virus and everything's as it should be, that's fine by me.
No need for explanations, I probably wouldn't understand it anyway!

Are you using Chrome? I had that happen and found a weird extension that got uploaded at some point. Check the browser extensions.
