    Harley HAD a bike it could have used to get the youth market, it was called the Buell.

    and we all know what happened there.

    V-Rod.... nice bike, but why am I going to pay ( assuming they were still made) 18 grand for one of those, when a C14 or ZX14 can be had for less money and more features, including reliability.

    HD needed to take that water cooled V Rod motor and, stuff it into a bagger configuration. The "twin cooled" engine is a joke.

    One of my buddies college roomates is one of the younger engine engineers at HD. The V-Rod motor is/was quite expandable and that was the intent. But the hardheads prevailed and killed it.
    I just fear this new street fighter and others are too little too late.
