    What a progress Jaco.

Both look great. I am with Arash - can't decide which looks actually better since both have their appealing points.
Maybe a solution in the middle between 'supercrisp' and the smoothened one?

Thanks Heino. I'm really enjoying it, but don't have that much time to spend on it.
I will print some more, and then print it at the size that everyone wants. Scaling does make a difference.
These are 1.5 inches in diameter so the final one will be smaller.

Latest one was made with thinner 'arms' and filleted as well. I don't like it though.

I will print one with smaller fillet to see how that comes out.

Of those I think I like the first the best.

This is biased though, since I would put it on the tank next to the letters which have sharp edges too.

I really compliment you on your dedication to the matter Jaco.

I like the one on the right. It looks more defined.

You do? It doesn't look right to me... But I went maximum with the fillet on that one.
I think a smaller fillet might be the key...

Re: Carbon 3D printed River Mark Keyrings

I finally managed to get some prints done again. I changed the design from filleted corners to a domed top. In combination with the gold glitter PLA it came out very nice in my opinion.

Top ones are 20mm diameter, then 30, 40 and 50.

They are still raw in the pics.

Looks like good badging to put on the tank, side covers, etc.

Re: Carbon 3D printed River Mark Keyrings

"The nostalgic "River Mark" extends far back to the origins of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which also used the icon on the very first Kawasaki bikes that came to America. It was soon phased out in favor of the "Flying K" logo which is still in use worldwide today. The word "Kawa" means water in Japanese, and Kawasaki was the family name of the founder of the company which began in 1878.

For those of you younger-generation riders who have never had the pleasure of being scared out of your wits from a full-throttle blast on Kawasaki's two-stroke 750cc triple, we hope that a new bike deemed worthy of the H2 badge will let you experience this sheer acceleration in much the same way. Until then, we're in exactly the same state of anxiety as you are. We can't wait."

Sorry guys, had to look this up !

Starting riding Kawasaki dirt bikes when I was 12. Only remember the flying K ...
