This is NOT a Black Widow can (as they mount onto the exhaust flange bracket provided with the exhaust..)

Rather I wanted a can that would complement the stainless steel Black Widow down pipes..collector and link pipe perfectly....and would be good quality..look expensive...but be excellent value for little price..

    Tall order..but I found one..here...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/312075551698

Although it will fit the Black Widow link pipe perfectly...you will need to have two stainless steel spring 'hooks' tack welded on to attach everything..(this is why I requested Black Widow to include these parts upon placing my order as shown in my OP..)

Anyway here are some shots of the can...

Ok so I'm just guessing where the 'strap' will be positioned when mounted..but just to give you an idea...

Looking forward to getting this all mounted .....soon.

    Brian.
You may want to drill the strap holes out to 11mm, maybe 12 on the inner side, you'll struggle to get a 10 through both sides and when you're fitting it the extra wiggle room a larger hole would provide could make it a little less stressful, bare in mind that you have to lift the pipe a good inch higher than where it would normally be due to the difference in diameter of the end can. I smothered the joint on the collector to mid pipe in paste and don't have any leaks (famous last words) and I lifted mine further due to the K Factory bracket length.

Can't wait to have the bike jetted so I can run it sans db killer, beautiful sound...

I'm going to order a better quality strap at some point, still makes the can a bit of a bargain.

Just realised, that bracket, as beautiful as it is, was twice the price of the can its holding...

Bought a "new / "used" 1st gen one off a member here for $250, Micron CF can & good enough for me with a stunted $$$$ tree not producing much green.

So just how bad is the oil filter interference? That system looks so nice, but only the uglier,.. uh... I mean..., early version properly clears.

I did an oil change the other day and had to remove the can and mid pipe, not sure if I would have had to if the pipe wasn't at such an extreme angle but ony one bolt and a couple of exhaust springs so not the end of the world.

That's the way I would look at just about any pipe & oil change. Muffler strap bolt & a couple springs removed in minutes, so what they all crying about? No biggie...
