There's three feet of snow on the ground here so I can't ride I might as well show another knife. This came from my great grandfather who brought it with him from England in the early 1900s. It says Shefield England on it. Name: image.jpeg

Nice one Rusty! I'm not pretentious when it comes to knives. The only reason I'm buying a Randall is because I don't have a cool old knife with a awesome story like you guys and it's my way of starting something cool. I will be beating the heck out of their knives when I finally pick one.

I used to carry one that size after getting tired of the heavy benchmade jutting into me...big mistake, not the knife you want to be carrying while facing down a nasty big dude...

After surviving that encounter I got the ZT0900 - titanium handles, quick open left or right, and CA legal! (well it was the last time I checked). It's one of the best mini-cqcb quality folder knives out there imho...

Randall Knives is still in the same location for over 50 + years. I stop by every now and then to see what they have available. When there is a gun show at the Orlando fair grounds, they have a booth there. It's awesome to see the quality of their art. Because that's what it is. I own 2 and plan on buying another the next gun show.

Re: Any of you guys into knives?

I know your talking about new knives but this one is kind of unique. It was bought in the 60s at an army surplus store by my dad. It was made in the early 40s for the war. It's made by Cattaragus and is stamped 225q. It is very heavy and holds an edge like no other knife. Even with abuse it takes sharpening that would surprise you. I've split wood and opened cans with it and it always bounces backName: image.jpeg

You're never going to get around to using the new one judging by how well you maintained the edge on the older one the lest 50 years.

I still have my Buck 110 from the late 70s.

My best favorite uncle's Schrade 497 I inherited after he was killed in an accident 10-12 years ago.

My dad has one of those. Massive old blade. can't remember where it came from he's had it so long. I have been accumulating some knives a friend of mine makes out of Burleson Texas. he sells a few of them on Texasbowhunter.com but goes by Janksknives.
