109HP isn't out to far for a proper broken in bike.
Brocks web siteNothing against you Dan. Brock has told the truth, but you have to dig for it.
    115HP vs 109HP is what I see.
Also Brock does make a nice system as stated earlier.
Kawasaki has nothing left in this bike for the tuners out there. Maybe that's why we haven't seen other Tuners jump on board?
There is nothing to dig for.
It is very clear on the dyno chart that you posted.

    Stock: 101.38 HP
    Tuned: 115.87 HP

    The math is easy …………….

Not a big deal guys, just pointing out some interesting facts.
BEFORE BREAK IN, 8 miles on odometer= 101HP.

    Carry on.

From what i have read and seen the RS is making about 109 HP on 87 pump gas. I watched your bike on the dyno and that was not even broken in. For a fresh motor it did extremely well 101HP. After brake in 109HP would not be unheard of.
Brock has tons of tricks he has created and or learned to get better numbers on a Dyno. Brocks not at fault here. He probably did a few things to get the numbers higher, race fuel, over inflated the tires, low oil and very thin.....etc What he has done is made a nice looking, sounding exhaust . More power to him. Expect he is Over selling.
Kawasaki just stripped this 900 down. The Z900 makes 121HP from the factory. THe RS is a bike I would like to own, but the performance end of it would not necessarily be the reason I would buy one.
My take away from this post is do not trust Brock's as they are thieves and liars.

I wouldn't say that . Oldcowboy has ridden the bike before and after .There is no way he didn't get significant gains . Just those beautiful wheels alone would make the bike handle and perform better . As far as dyno results . There was a video shared here a year or so ago of Brocks explaining how to get high H/P numbers by manipulating the smoothing numbers .

If you take Kawasaki 109HP rating. It boils down to a 7HP increase, not bad. Brock isn't lying, he is interpeting data that is beneficial to his marketing of his products. Not knocking the quality, just his interpetation of the facts.
Nice bike ride it fast and safe.

agreed a real looker now isn't it?

I'd sure like the know what's current pricing on the BST's? Last time I looked it was far out in space for me to afford, just curious in today's dollars.

Pipe cost would be nice too....

For anyone who is interested in some facts on Dan's RS break in power, it was head a scratching.... (drum roll plz) ZERO HP gain. In fact, it went down a bit.

We feel that most modern bikes are broken-in, from a combustion standpoint, as delivered... but I can say that some will benefit from a proper break-in.

Humidity and Temp might have played a roll in the loss of power. But loss of 1 HP could have been anything. Not a deal breaker.
Most reliable sources are stating that the Z900RS is putting out between 109HP-111HP. Who do you start to believe?
Break-in like you stole it is good if you just put new rings in with a Hone on a broken in motor. On a fresh NEW motor there are Cams, Crank, Gears....etc parts of the motor that don't break in as fast as the piston rings. New engine materials
    Boys, this isn't the 70's.
