Apparently I have no idea what 180 grams looks like

The tube looked a lot smaller on the Internet...I was expecting something the size of my finger, not my forearm! Ounces I understand...grams not so much I guess

5 generations of my family will be using this giant tube of paste to rebuild hydraulic systems.

Well I've got to ask... what use does it have when rebuilding hyd. systems?

Some kind of a special assembly lube that won't clog valves or orifices?

Instead of using brake fluid to lube your seals, pistons, and bores, this stuff is compatible with and not harmful to brake fluid.

Also makes the pistons move much more freely from less stiction on the seals. Itís supposedly anti corrosive as well.

This particular brand/tube is what a lot of the vintage Ferrari guys use to keep their brakes from sticking/dragging.

Great stuff - have used it in the past. The tube I have now is plastic though. Where did you find the metal tube?

Re: Apparently I have no idea what 180 grams looks like

I had the opposite syndrome, understanding your modified imperial system. However having traveled a lot to the USA I developed some simple tricks and roundings to understand and convert quickly.

An ounce is close enough to 30 grams, so that 10 ounces filet mignon from the Capital Grille will do just fine, I canít eat that 20 ounces porterhouse by myself (Iíll have the wedge salad with bacon, the onion rings and some veggies, like cream corn with that, thanks).

An inch is 2 1/2 centimetres

A mile is 1.6 km or 1600 meters, so a quarter mile is 400 meters and 1/8 mile is 200 meters.

A foot is 30 cm. A yard 0.9 meters (usueful for golfers).

    A pound is 1/2 kg less 10%

Fahrenheit is a bit tougher though.

Yep, this stuff is great. Much better than brake fuid!
Lube all rubber seals and the Pistons, the brakes will work perfect for a long time without sticky pistons or so.

I have done this at my car. Saftey inspection in Germany checks the brakes also for equality on each side on a test roll:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkmA_rXyl8k

Since 8 years, the brakes are almost perfect equal left-right at my car when doing this test.

Use it, you will not be dissapointed.
