First DRZ trip Out in the Mts

Took the DRZ out to my land and got her offroad for the first time. Still stock with only abou 350 miles on it.
The northern part of the road along the ridge was real rough and I did some mudn' but didn't dump it in a puddle even with the lame stock tyres. Didn't get any pics of the rough part though.

Great bike for trail riding and a bit of paved road usage. I have the 'green' version......2003 KLX400SR I have a couple of MODS......

Really enjoy mine..............looks like a good time! rockon: thumbs:

BTW....when you run those tires down...get some better ones...DOT dirt tires they will be legal and will grip much better than stock! Be careful

Remove kickstand switch, JD jet kit 3x3 airbox Mod, taller bars, Thumpertalk engine covers, radiator fan over ride switch, smaller rear turn signals and some DOT dirt tires, good skid plate, Larger fuel tank (range) rear rack(found a used one) That's a few I did and many do........ Thumpertalk and ADV board has great resources and ideas.....

Post some more pics after MODS.........

Nice. We'll need to get together some time (once I get a battery back in the DRZ). We've got some great roads/trail down here as well.

Would love to meet you my man. I'm about to pull the pin on double knee replacement, so if it's not in the next couple weeks, it'll have to be a year from now

The kids are in from Okinawa for the next month, I'm having trouble even fitting in a trip to the range, let alone a trip to the mountains.

    Good luck with the surgery.
