    Must be a parallel twin. Can't see a 4 cylinder being priced competitively.

    BTW- I watched that clip twice and never heard them mention 400

    It's a P2 based on the 650 engine from the Ninja / Z650 / Versys

    Nope it's a new engine. At least the '18 model is. There was a previous 400 that was a reduced 650.

    I saw a Ninja 400 at the Kawasaki dealer a month ago. It looked pretty nice but it was not nice enough for me to give up my modded Ninja 300. I will keep my 300 until it becomes a classic I guess.

    I saw one in black that looked OK, but then I saw one in gray/orange and it looked very sharp
