The earlier splitter was a good looking part with jacketed wire going to 3 connectors as well as a "Y".
There is what looks to be shrink tubing between these connectors and the "Y".
It would be great if there was some sort of strain relief / protection at the "Y" and the connectors for both strength and waterproofing.

I realize that the kickstand and neutral switch wires are also just hanging in the breeze with little support but that doesn't make it right.
I thought I would suggest this mod if it wasn't too much trouble / expense to tidy things up.

    Jim,

I will post my thoughts, but as always I will do the following anyways:

    -Adhesive lined heatshrink for "looming"
-All connections properly crimped AND soldered.
-OEM connectors with seals for water ingress.
    -18ga TXTL Copper stranded wire.

Not sure what more could be asked for from a "robustness" stand point, but I am open to suggestions.

    Sounds good.
In my perfect world there would be strain relief and not just individual wires going into a connector on the exterior of a vehicle.
    Carry on.

The adapter plugs into the same exact setup. You'd have to redesign the entire harness...

I think the electrical wiring on the REX is overall decent
The sidestand and neutral safety switch wires flopping in the breeze looks like a$$.

Canada is $18 more for shipping so a total of $50 due to the cost being $26 vs $7.15.

Let me know if you still want one.
