Re: What did you do to your OTHER BIKE today?

Reinstalled the forks after having them resprung and reshimmed. Set sag. Modified the steering damper mount to allow more range of adjustment for the clipons. Changed oil. Bled the brakes. Modified some of the bodywork mounting for improved ease of removal/install. Mounted all the bodywork, cleaned it up and put the bike to bed.

Absolutely nothing! Too damn hot to ride. I did go out to my garage / shop and take a look at it though.

holy crap. that's like 700+ miles a day for 14 days straight? Shhiiiiiiiit. kudos! How many hours a day? Quick math looks like at 65mph average that's 11 hours minimum in the saddle each day.

Ran it on the Highway for the first time after engine rebuild. Does 85 mph with no problem and had way more to go. The bike feels real small. Handled better then I thought it would.

Pulled the engine from the carcass bike. I Mongoed the thing out but that isn't going to work on the install or the next one I have to pull. Who makes a good engine bracket?

Re: What did you do to your OTHER BIKE today?

Dropped off my frame and swingarm at the powdercoater. That would be for my '93 Yamaha WR500 restoration. It will be my final open-class motocrosser project.

Also, am working on my '86 Honda ATC 350X.

Finally, I have a GPZ1100 tuning and service project in the works. That will be completed by someone else. I'm just sourcing the parts and reaping the benefits of his expertise.

So glad to finally be able to contribute to one of these posts! Things have been pretty quiet for me for a while now...just working way, way too much.
