Re: What did you do to your OTHER BIKE today?

Zeph 1100 test ride went really well. Fuelling is bang on with mild popping on the overrun. She's not a wheelie monster so will probably either fit a smaller rear or larger front sprocket as she's revving 4500 at 60mph. Posting the phots to prove that we have blazing sunniness and 26 deg C. Forecast to hit maybe 40 Deg C over the weekend. Hell that'll be odd for us pale skins. Rex now has tank sorted so here's the stance with lowered fairing.

Re: What did you do to your OTHER BIKE today?

Found a cheap damaged exhaust for the ktm, the stock muffler sounds a bit mechanical and tinny, certain charm for sure but for a big twin it lacks a bit of broaaap.
thing was scratched front and back

heatshield were gouged a bit, flattened them out first

finished the paint and was hard enough to install

installation was easy, everything lined up really well and stress-free

even gave the old girl a bath, cleans up nice!

put the rex next to it too of course... clearly one here is the looker!

exhaust sounds much nicer with less mechanical noise and a nice deep sound. Can still tweak it with the adjustable valve, nifty feature

Yeah, only the bike took the hit this time. BIG hit. Got away from me on a tricky stepped ledge climb and the bike launched about 6' in the air. Came down on its side, right on the bar. Riding it home was a little tricky.

Really classy mods to your ZRX.
The more you look, the more you see what you have done.
    Very subtle,yet very effective.

    Great paintwork,also.
