    DR 400

    A guy told me that the dash on a DR 400 draws power all the time . with the key off. Have to keep a tender on it. it that true? sounds like BS.

    I believe that was the reason the previous owner of my KLX 400 replaced the stock instruments with a Vapor,never had an issue. And,you still gotta make sure the dome light doesn't stay on after you park it.

    Ok, so a couple guys I know said they always leave the bike on a tender so they don't know. Here's what I found out : The DRZ comes with too small reserve battery. I guess if you konk the engine a few times you run out of juice from restarts. So, the clock has a small power drain and klls the battery over days time.
