Ditto. I'm still trying to decide exactly where I want it. Left/right side of bar clamps? Remove the clamp cover and center it?

I'm very balance minded so I'm thinking the center but I don't want to rattle my Fung Shway by removing the clamp cover. Choices choices.

I can put you down for round 3 if you would like. Let me know if you want lighted or not. Be aware with the lighted switch, you will have to ground the ring terminal wire under the tank.

As soon as round two switches show up, I will order round 3 parts.

The cover of the turn signals pulled the instruments and pulled the piece off and marked and drilled it seems solid as it weighs only ounces

Cory, just thought of an added benefit. For those with lightweight LiOn batteries that need a little heat in the battery in cold weather
it will make it easy to bump the fan to do that

What exactly did you mount it to? The cover for the turn signals??? What's that?

    You picked the best spot

Radiator Fan Manual Control - Interest?

Cory, can you build me another one with just an on/off lighted rocker switch that I can mount on the black plastic cowling insert?

I already have a round rocker switch there now for my grip heaters. That actual switch is about 5/8" diameter with the bezel surround size being maybe a little less than 1/8" all the way around the circumference.

    Arash,

Do you want just that part of the harness and have it plug into the lower harness I already sent to you? Will you have enough room above it to mount another 5/8" rocker?

Just that part of the harness works for me Cory. Can you provide an extra few inches of slack so that the fairing can be removed and the wire will allow it to pull out a bit before the wire is strained?

Also can you add another connector about 2" from the rocker switch so that it can be disconnected from the harness without pulling the tank to get to the one near the radiator?

I have plenty of room to mount another switch above the existing one.

So you want the harness longer than what is attached to the switch itself? It may be easier to make the whole thing. I don't want extra connectors as they just add potential points of failure and of course cost. So I will make you a whole new harness with lighted rocker switch. I ordered the rocker switch so when it comes in I'll build you another harness and send it your way. I also have to be cognizant that one half of the connector will need to go through the hole for the switch, so it needs to be sized accordingly. I would like to solder and heat shrink a jumper harness with the connector to the switch.
