    FP 2.5 K&N filter part #

Does anybody have the part # for the single large pod filter that FP uses with their 2.5 kit? Thanks, Larry

You could call Mark at FP and ask him the part #s for the K&N and the BMC...I've been talking to him about the 2.5 kit lately and it sounds to me like it's his favorite for the Rex. He might just sell you the filter by itself, and don't forget to ask about the 20% ZRXOA discount.

The reason that I wanted the part# is to see if I can find a K&N Xtreme filter with the same flange ID. When I order my FP 2.5 kit, I wanted to be able to experiment with the Xtreme filter in place. I feel that every little bit of airflow is GOOD.

I have been asking this exact same question on the OC for some time, and the answer I got was from someones paperwork and they said it was RU-2990.
There isn't much to choose between these two filters, they are both 3.5" intake and 3.5" top dia, but one (2790) is half inch longer at 4.5" and has a slightly smaller base dia at 4.625" to the 2990's 5"

Can anyone measure theirs to confirm? shouldn't be too hard to measure the length to determine which is which.
    It's pronounced zed
