The right side cleaned up a little nicer than the left.

Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing!!! LOL!! It sounds like something you'd see on Webike.

Hollow banjo bolt holding in one of the foot pegs. :

And the seller was really generous and left the rear master cylinder and reservoir full of fluid but didn't cap the hole where the hose goes. : messy!!!

I have a screw loose, but I may have to buy this slightly used Akra Evo titanium full system that I found for sale. :

They are impossible to get anymore and I only have a slip on right now...$1100 + shipping. What to do...

More pictures of the system. Not in too bad a shape. I'm gonna do it! There will be a point where it will be too late to get my grubby hands on one ever again.

Well, I just gave Simon in Japan the green light on the Akrapovic Evo exhaust. I have a feeling this will be worth it though.

Thanks c10. Starting this thread was inspired by the one you have for your Busa.

I tried to get my head into the R6 forum but there is an "interesting" crowd there, to put it nicely. I guess I'm spoiled after getting used to this place. I created an account but haven't made a single post there.

No place is like the ZRXOA ! I'm a member on two other sites . I read at one , and post some on the Hayabusa.org forum . Busa board is a distant 2nd . Not bad in any way just light on traffic , and some traffic is dip wads with hack jobs needing internet help to fix what should be crushed

Just got the following email from Simon in Japan. I'm pumped!!

"The exhaust is here. It's beautiful. Not a scratch on it, so a good find! (made when Akrapovic quality was amazing-they are a bit roughly made these days)

It also has the carbon muffler stay and a few new akrapovic springs.

I will get it packed later today and tell you the weight.

    Simon"

That's not a bad price on the exhaust. An Akra Ti exhaust for my FZ-07 is about a 1000 and it's just two cylinders !

I was expecting twice that much since its been out of production for so long. Even Simon was impressed and he sees a lot of exhaust systems.

The exhaust from Simon arrived today! Woohoo!

There is a dab of some lime green paint on the muffler. That's probably how they identify it as the FAST full race exhaust system

I think I have the wrong jet kit currently installed on the bike. Need the one for a full race system. Will have to probably buy another but will call FP and/or research it first.

In Japan, part of the scrutineering process at race meetings involves a dab of paint on the exhaust can.

I have imported Grand Prix motorcycles from Japan with numerous dabs of paint of varying colours indicating a full season of racing.

Most racers leave them on. Sort of like a badge of honour,I suspect.

This may be the case with your Yellow dab.

    Re: R6

Can anyone help me identify all the parts I should buy to rebuild my stock front forks?

    Parts diagram: http://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/y...3b/front-fork#

I'll buy item #48, Fork Seal Kit, which is a bundle that includes items 8, 10, 29, 31 (oil seals and dust seals)

    I know I should replace the bushings. Is that items 4, 25, 6, & 27?

Any other items on the diagram that I should buy? O-rings? (item #21, 42)

    Thanks!!
