I am extremely pleased that AV8OR has received due recognition by being selected as the October 2015 Bike Of The Month winner.

After his unfortunate altercation with an extremely irresponsible driver,it would have been far simpler to take the easy option and part out the damaged ZRX.But the decision to resurrect the motorcycle was made relatively swiftly and the process of repair and enhancement was completed without procrastination.A true inspiration to any motorcyclist who may,one day, find themselves in the same unfortunate position after their motorcycle has been damaged.

Personally,I have enjoyed following his thread of resurrection of the ZRX,and the recognition of the standard of the completed project is truely deserved.

    Congratulations.

Thanks guys. I'm flattered by the positive response to the rebuild after the accident.

Of all the bikes that have come and gone for me over the last 25 years, I couldn't let this ZRX get totaled out after my accident. It was a lot of fun going on the spending spree to mod it out and I couldn't have built it without the support from the great community here.

Exactly! I thought the $8K from the insurance was going to be enough but I ended up kicking in another $6k of my own cash for a total of $14k for the resurrection/rebuild. Now I'm wondering why I didn't buy Greg Couch's bike AND use the leftover cash to rebuild this one, LOL!

    Thank you!

Yes, the steel Throttlemeister bar ends with integrated throttle lock are definitely heavier than the stock ones.

KWICK will eventually be machining a lighter set out of aluminum for me.
