That is quite a confession. Sick and twisted, but took a lot of guts to share that here. It'll be interesting to see if you later confess that your prediction turned out to be false. You certainly wouldn't be the first ZRX owner to have made that mistake.

It'd be my first fuel injected bike. There's a local B-King here for only $6k. Considering I've dumped over that into my 1200 and still havent completed my 1224 engine, it's got me in an emotional tug-o-war.

The rex has the nostalgia I love, but will put me in $10k to get the same things I want from the King.

Sometimes when its late at night I put the bike on the pit stands and make motor noises as I imagine what it would be like to ride the ZRX around the Nurburgring.
2000 ZRX1100 - Mad Max black 1109 with full kerker exhaust with custom baffle, pod filters, ZX Cams, ZX11 ECU +2 advancer, and 6spd trans and CVK40's with a prototype jet kit. Ridden daily and rarely clean.
1997 KDX 200 - Tons of blingy parts on a crap bike. Imagine a Roadkill dirtbike...

2006 XC90 V8 AWD - A bit of this, a bit of that and a whole ton of dog hair.
    1982 Porsche 928 - A serious PITA, but I can't get rid of it till it's working.

It'll roll past 120,000 in the next week or so. Never washed it once (well it did rain on the way to work this morning....).

Nope. Bought it 6 and a half years ago with 11,000 miles on it. It is a daily driver that I treat like you'd treat a '92 Camry.

It is my second Rex, the first I picked up with 17,000 miles on it, and strained a deer through it at 65,000 miles. So I'm closing in on 160,000 miles of unwashed Rex riding.

Hey, you asked for "ZRX Confessions...."

my ZRX confession - I seem to ride it less than the HD nowadays but when I do get on it it is a direct ride to the highway and 120-140 for a few miles - when on country roads I tend to be 2x the posted limit .. dern thing makes speed fun - I best avoid a ZX-12/14

    re: washing
-I have not washed a bike in years - I wipe em down with bike kleen spray on cleaner and then use black magic spray wax booster - which is probably just like turtle wax ice - the paint feels like heaven
